Overview
The Converged Media minor equips students with hands-on experience in digital storytelling, journalism, and content creation across print, audio, video, and web platforms. Students learn how to gather and verify information, apply media ethics, and craft accurate and engaging messages. This minor is ideal for students looking to strengthen their media literacy and creative communication skills.
Admissions Requirements
Students must meet the general admissions requirements for the University of Akron.
Students majoring in Media Studies cannot minor in Converged Media.
