Overview
The Emerging Technologies minor combines creativity with innovation, giving students from any major, including engineering, art, and education, hands-on experience with 3D printing, laser cutting, AR/VR, and more. You’ll work on real-world projects in the Myers Makerspace, turning your ideas into functional objects and digital experiences. Whether you want to prototype designs, explore wearable tech, or build interactive installations, this minor helps you apply technology in exciting, tangible ways.
Admissions Requirements
Authorization from the student, adviser and Myers School of Art is required to add the Minor in Emerging Technologies.
