Overview

You’ll gain broad knowledge across all areas of business while customizing your coursework to match your career path. The Business Administration major combines the College of Business core curriculum with upper-level courses in areas such as management, marketing, finance, and accounting—allowing you to build skills that matter most to you.

Our program is immersive and practical. You’ll learn from accomplished faculty members who bring real-world insight into the classroom, and you’ll apply what you learn through internships, career fairs, and campus visits with industry professionals. Outside the classroom, Business Administration majors connect with peers through student organizations and experiential learning opportunities.

Along the way, you’ll receive personalized academic advising to help you reach your goals—whether that means starting or leading a small business, managing a family enterprise, advancing within an organization, or continuing your education through graduate study or professional certification.

Admissions Requirements

The University of Akron Bulletin acts as a guide for degree requirements, however official requirements are established at the time of transfer and admission to the degree-granting college.
