Overview

This minor gives students outside the School of Art an opportunity to develop photography skills through a professionally guided sequence of courses. With no art major or portfolio required, the program introduces digital photography tools, visual storytelling, and creative problem solving. Electives allow students to explore commercial photography, photographic history, and advanced color work, making it a great option for students in communication, marketing, science, or other majors seeking visual content creation skills. 

Admissions Requirements

No portfolio required. Open to students enrolled in a four-year degree-granting major. Prerequisites must be honored where applicable.
