Explore how AI transforms industries while gaining hands-on experience with AI programming, Large Language Models, machine learning, and data visualization. Stand out from other applicants with an Applied AI & Information Systems degree from The University of Akron.
Our program is immersive. You’ll build a strong business foundation, develop key technical skills, and gain real-world experience. You’ll learn from accomplished faculty members who are passionate about teaching. And you’ll network with industry professionals through internships, career fairs and campus visits. Outside of the classroom, Applied AI & IS majors connect with peers through events and student orgs, including the annual Business Analytics Innovation Summit (BAIS).
