Overview
The Photography Minor offers students with studio art experience a deeper exploration of photography as a creative and conceptual art form. Beginning with traditional and digital techniques, the program emphasizes composition, lighting, color theory, and visual storytelling. Students build technical and aesthetic skills while working toward a cohesive portfolio of work. Ideal for students in the Myers School of Art or others with foundational art coursework.
Admissions Requirements
Authorization from the student, adviser and Myers School of Art is required to add the Minor in Photography.
