Overview
The Adolescent to Young Adult (AYA) Education program prepares you to teach students in grades 7 through 12 in one of five subject areas. You’ll build deep content knowledge while developing teaching skills through hands-on fieldwork and mentorship. Whether you're passionate about math, science, social studies, or language arts, this program gives you the tools, confidence, and licensure needed to lead in today’s middle and high school classrooms.
Single fields with licensure:
- Integrated Mathematics

Dual Science Fields with Licensure:
- Life/Biology-Chemistry

Career Outcomes
Graduates of the AYA Education program are licensed to teach in grades 7 through 12 in their selected subject area. Career paths include:
