Overview
The Illustration minor prepares students to develop a visual voice while building the skills needed for careers in professional illustration. Students explore both traditional and digital techniques, while sharpening problem-solving and creative storytelling through image-making. With opportunities to propose and execute advanced projects, such as a graphic novel, poster series, or children’s book, students graduate with a focused body of work and a professional portfolio.
Admissions Requirements
Authorization from the student, adviser and Myers School of Art is required to add the Minor in Illustration.
