Overview

Earn your bachelor's and master's degrees faster while saving money!

The Combined Degree Program (CDP) program is a dual degree program for our School of Communication undergraduate programs (Communication Studies, Media Studies, Organizational Supervision, Public Relations) and M.A. in Strategic Communication. Qualifying students can complete up to 8 credits of graduate coursework during their senior year. Upon satisfactory completion of their undergraduate degree and meeting graduate admission requirements, students seamlessly transition into our M.A. program. Through this pathway, students can earn both their undergraduate and graduate degrees in as little as 5 years!

Admissions Requirements

To qualify for the Combined Degree Program, students must:

  • Have junior standing (60+ undergraduate credit hours)

  • Hold a minimum 3.3 cumulative GPA

  • Submit a letter of intent

  • Provide two letters of recommendation from School of Communication faculty

Career Outcomes

Graduates of the accelerated program are equipped for high-level communication roles in business, healthcare, government, and nonprofits.
