Health care careers aren't one-size-fits-all—and neither is your degree. The Health Services program is our most flexible health care pathway, available as either an associate or bachelor's degree and designed for students who want a broad foundation in health care with the freedom to explore their options. Whether your goal is to enter the workforce, continue your education, or pair your degree with clinical training, Health Services helps you build a path that's uniquely yours.

Health Services, AAS

Build a strong foundation in health care and enter the workforce sooner while keeping the door open to continue working toward a bachelor's degree in the future. This 60-credit hour degree can be earned entirely online.

Health Services, BS

Gain a deeper understanding of health care systems, leadership, and specialized career pathways while preparing for advancement, graduate study, or clinical partner programs. Use your elective credits to dig deeper into your area of interest through a minor or certificate.

Medical Lab Sciences Track (BS)

Turn your passion for science into a high-demand health care career by combining a Health Services degree with specialized Medical Laboratory Science training, preparing you to play a critical role in diagnosing and treating disease behind the scenes of patient care. Students begin their academic journey in Health Services and, upon meeting admission criteria, can seamlessly transition into the Akron Cooperative Medical Laboratory Science Program to complete the combined pathway.

Radiologic Technology Track (AAS)

Launch your health care career in as little as just two and a half years by pairing a Health Services degree with hands-on Radiologic Technology training at one of our partner locations, preparing you to use advanced imaging technology to help diagnose and treat patients. There are multiple clinical partnership options for students to complete this degree.
