Biography

CPT Jacob B. Biggie is a native of Akron, OH. He enlisted in the Ohio Army National Guard on 12 January 2012 and was commissioned through the Reserve Officer Training Program at The University of Akron, Akron, OH. He holds a bachelor's degree in Homeland Security and Emergency Management.

CPT Biggie has served in various positions and organizations throughout his military career. His duty positions include Military Police, Battalion S4 Logistics Officer, Headquarters Executive Officer, Support Group Current Operations Officer, Capability Developer, and Company Commander.

CPT Biggie’s assignments include 583rd Military Police Company, North Canton, Ohio; 1-1 Air Defense Artillery Regiment and 10th Regional Support Group, Okinawa Japan; Sustainment Capability Development Integration Directorate, Fort Gregg-Adams, VA;  832nd OD BN, Fort Lee, VA. 

CPT Biggie’s Military Education include the Ordnance Basic Officer Leader Course, Fort Lee Virginia; Logistics Captain Career Course, Fort Lee, Virginia; Unit Movement Officer.

CPT Biggie’s awards and decorations include Army Commendation Medal, Army Achievement Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Army Service Ribbon, and Overseas Service Ribbon.
