Andrew Bernat, JD, CPA, MBA, MTAX, is a strategic legal and tax professional with over 17 years of experience spanning private practice, corporate counsel, and academia. Currently serving as Lead Counsel at Liberty HealthShare, he manages litigation, regulatory compliance, and nonprofit governance. His prior roles include Tax Supervisor at W3, Tax Counsel at The Sherwin-Williams Company, where he led M&A tax strategy and generated significant corporate tax savings, and Associate Attorney at Buckingham, Doolittle & Burroughs, focusing on complex tax law and business transactions.

In parallel with his legal work, Andrew has taught accounting, finance, and taxation at The University of Akron since 2009.
