Christopher J. Garman, CPA, MT, is a Senior Manager in Grant Thornton’s Cleveland office with over 14 years of experience in state and local tax. He specializes in income and franchise tax compliance, consulting, and tax planning for companies across manufacturing, distribution, and service industries. Chris also advises on sales/use tax, personal property tax, and credits and incentives, including tax implications in mergers and acquisitions.

He holds a Master of Taxation and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from The University of Akron and is active in the community through Providence House and First Tee of Cleveland. Chris currently serves as President of the Tax Club of Cleveland.
