Professional & Academic Experience

John is an assurance partner with Ernst & Young LLP with more than 20 years of experience within a broad range of sectors, including a strong focus on technology. He began his career in Northeast Ohio after graduating from the University of Akron with a Bachelors of Science in Accounting. John left Akron in 2003 for Tokyo, Japan to join EY’s Global Professional Practice, Capital Markets group. After more than six years working in Japan, John transitioned back into EY’s US practice in 2010, joining EY Los Angeles’ assurance services. John holds coordinating partner responsibilities for a variety of public and non-public companies and private equity investees. Areas of expertise include SEC reporting and capital markets transactions. He is on the Board of Directors for the Los Angeles Venture Association.
