Professional & Academic Experience

Originally from the UK, Tim Holmes is the Akron Practice Director for Robert Half's Management Resources group which is the world's first and largest specialized talent solutions firm. 

Having lived in Beirut, Lebanon for a year volunteering as a teacher, he graduated with a BA and followed with a master's in international development from the University of Liverpool.  This led him to assist with delivery of the UN's food and emergency relief program in Sudan and the emergency relief efforts in northern Pakistan after the 2005 earthquake, as well as providing training and guidance for international development programming across Africa and Eastern Europe.

Tim has an accounting-focused MBA from Warwick Business School gained before moving to Northeast Ohio where he has been providing companies and organizations with guidance and solutions for accounting, finance, compliance, M&A, organizational transformation, and ERP improvements.   In addition, he has participated and led hundreds of employee interviews and feedback debriefs for accounting professionals and employees giving him a wide-ranging perspective on employer requirements and career opportunities within the accounting & finance space across Northeast Ohio.

Tim has a passion for travel, Arabic cultures, and English soccer.  He is married with two very creative and highly energetic young daughters.
