Professional & Academic Experience

Jeffery Walters, CPA, JD, MT is a Managing Director of the Northeast Ohio offices of CBIZ Advisors, LLC.  His practice includes providing tax, consulting, merger & acquisition, succession planning, and other business advisory services to closely-held businesses. 

Jeff has taken leadership roles in a number of business and charitable organizations and is active in promoting taxation and business issues through advocacy roles in organizations such as the Ohio Chamber of Commerce, Greater Akron Chamber, Greater Cleveland Partnership, and Ohio Small Business Council.  He serves on the College of Business Advancement Council for the University of Akron and has served on the Board of Directors for a number of organizations including the Ohio Chamber, Greater Akron Chamber and Stark State College.  He is also a member of the Ohio Society of CPAs, Institute of Management Accountants, American Institute of CPAs, Ohio State Bar Association, and Akron Bar Association.
