Professional & Academic Experience

Scott Tincher is a seasoned tax professional with over 25 years of experience in corporate tax strategy, compliance, and financial leadership. Currently serving as Director of Taxation at Covia Holdings LLC, Scott oversees all non-payroll tax matters.

Previously, Scott held tax leadership roles at Cardinal Health at Home, where he played an integral role in due diligence for multiple equity transactions, expanded tax compliance from 6 to 43 states, and secured over $10 million in tax credits and incentives. His experience also includes tax consulting at Greif, Inc., Cardinal Health, Inc., and Deloitte, where he managed audits, compliance, and tax planning for multinational corporations.

A dedicated leader in the tax profession, Scott is deeply involved with Tax Executives Institute (TEI), currently serving on the Executive Committee, as Chair of the Tax Leadership & Development Committee, and as Region 5 Vice President. He has also held key leadership positions within TEI’s Cleveland Chapter, including Chapter President and Board Member, and continues to organize the annual TEI Golf Outing, funding scholarships for Cleveland-area students.
