Professional & Academic Experience
Jared Miller works for Kendra Scott Jewelry as Sr. Director of Web Analytics & Personalization, establishing and scaling governance and production efficiency in analytics and an org-wide personalization program. Previously, Jared worked at GAP, Inc. as Director of e-Commerce Performance Analysis, where he built a new team and an e-commerce analytics Center of Excellence for Old Navy, GAP, Athleta, and Banana Republic. Earlier in his career, Jared ideated, grew, and led Pandora Jewelry’s first-ever global e-commerce analytics organization, based in Copenhagen, Denmark, after 12 years working for GNC, where he began as a store sales associate and gradually worked his way to leading GNC’s web analytics and e-commerce retail analytics team. He has given several industry presentations on tactical approaches to e-commerce analytics and strategic approaches to building insights processes that drive value.
He has a Master’s degree (2007) and a Bachelor’s degree (2006) from The University of Akron’s Economics Department. His undergraduate degree was a double major in Economics and Spanish. His primary academic interests today are logic, astrophysics, and community service.
Jared lives with his wife Kayla and their daughters in Pittsburgh, PA. Their corgi Gambit and their Roomba Winston are loyal companions. Jared is the President of his HOA and is actively involved in the local community. Jared is a mountaineer and has climbed the highest peaks in Africa, Russia, and South America.
