Psychology Takes Flight Virtual Tour
November 11, 2026, 3:00PM - 4:00PM ET
Online Event - Member Exclusive
Do you have what it takes to become a pilot, bombardier, or navigator in World War II?
Our Psychology Takes Flight exhibit, closing November 25, explores the work of psychologists in the U.S. Army Air Forces during World War II. Want to see the exhibit, but can’t make it to Akron, OH? Members of our Friends of the Center program are invited to join us for a virtual behind-the-scenes tour and Q&A with our Assistant Director Dr. Jennifer Bazar! You’ll learn how psychological science was used to train and classify recruits, administer complex tests, and redesign aircraft during the war. You’ll also learn about the research and curatorial process behind the exhibit, and how our Archival collections helped to bring World War II history to life in the 21st century.
This tour is exclusive to members of our Friends of the Center program. Current members will receive an invitation and sign-in link for the event. Sign up today to gain access to this and other benefits.
