Biography

Tessa Gaffney graduated from the University of Akron in 2015 with a B.A. in Political Science and a minor in Theatre Arts. Before returning to her alma mater for grad school, she created an original show highlighting the local heroin epidemic that has been performed at the Akron Civic Theatre and the Rialto Theatre with her company, EraAir. She also spent three months living in the Panamanian jungle as an intern with Kalu Yala. She hopes to learn the skills and knowledge to make true community theatre, by and for the people.
