Dear Mentor Teacher,

We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for agreeing to mentor a student from The University of Akron. Your commitment to our profession, in the form of mentoring a new teacher, is invaluable. We appreciate and respect the time you will take to impact future teachers.

The Mentor Teacher section of our website provides handbooks, dates, lists, and many other resources that will be helpful.  We cordially invite you to view our online Mentor training module. There is also a Mentor Teacher Survey that we would like you to fill out.  This will give us feedback on how we can better meet your needs. Please complete the survey by the end of the semester.

If for some reason you are unable to access any of the materials on the website, please contact our office and we will make sure you receive the information and materials you need.
