FAFSA is anticipated to be available starting in October

The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is an online form you fill out to determine if you are eligible for federal student aid. Completing and submitting the application is free. We also use it to determine state and school aid. We recommend you complete it every year you are in school, regardless of your financial situation.

The FAFSA for the 2024-25 academic year (covering fall 24, spring 25 and summer 25) will be available sometime in December 2023, according to the U.S. Department of Education. Find out more on

  • Visit the page, Big Changes Coming to the FAFSA for 2024-25, for important updates!
  • Apply by UA’s priority deadline of March 1, 2024, at Include our school code, 003123.
