University of Akron's Reporting Helpline
The University of Akron is committed to the highest standards of integrity. We all play a role in acting with integrity as we fulfill our academic and administrative mission of education, research, and service.
In addition to the Compliance and Risk Management Office, the University has a Reporting Helpline for anyone to raise a concern, report questionable conduct, or ask a question when they are unsure of where else to go. The helpline is administered by a third party (Navex) and available at all times (365 days a year/24 hours a day) at 1-844-734-3645 or online. Reported information can be provided to the University’s officials on an anonymous basis - if that is the preference of the person filing the report.
All reported information will be reviewed and, where appropriate, investigated. When requested, confidentiality will be maintained to the maximum extent possible under law and University policies. UA prohibits retaliation against any individual who in good faith submits a report to the helpline.
Emergencies:
Safety is the University's top concern. The helpline does not provide emergency response services. Do not use it to report events presenting threats to safety or security. If you require emergency assistance, please contact the University of Akron Police Department.
