College of Business undergrad program is 93rd in latest Poets&Quants ranking
For the second straight year, The University of Akron College of Business ranks among the top undergraduate business schools in the country in the annual Poets&Quants Best Undergraduate Business School rankings, coming in at No. 93. The College is one of only five Ohio schools to qualify and the only one in Northeast Ohio. With nearly 700 undergraduate business programs accredited by the AACSB, the business schools singled out in our ranking are in the top 10% of accredited schools in the country.
We are honored to continue to be recognized by Poets&Quants as a leader in undergraduate business education,
said R.J. Nemer, dean of the College. We believe this recognition is a testament to our dedicated faculty and our emphasis on career readiness and professional development, as exemplified by our 11,850-square-foot Professional Development Center, opened in 2019, and our strong connections with the Northeast Ohio business community.

We believe the quality of business education comes down to three core issues,
said Nathan Allen, Project Manager, Poets&Quants for Undergrads. , The quality of the raw talent coming through the door, what a school does with that talent over four years, and finally how the marketplace responds to the graduates coming off campus.
