Adult students — generally considered those age 25 and older — have several scholarship opportunities available through UA’s Adult Focus office, including:
- The Verna Trushel Displaced Homemaker Scholarship, which assist people who are forced to seek paid employment to support themselves and their dependents.
- The Bernard F. Osher Reentry Scholarship, which provides assistance to adult learners who otherwise might not be able to afford a college education. Available this year to part-time and full-time students.
- The Adult Continuing Student and Degree Completer Scholarship, which provides assistance to current students whose financial need and financial circumstances prevent graduating from UA.

“There are a plethora of other opportunities as well,” says Laura Conley, director of Adult Focus. “We urge students to take the time to explore the many ways to help cover the cost of college. We can help.”
