The University will test its emergency text-messaging service, called Z-Alert, at 2 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 26.
If you have changed carriers since you first signed up, we ask you to log in and change your carrier to help ensure you receive Thursday's text.
If you have subscribed to the service but do not receive a text on Thursday, send a note to zalert@uakron.edu. Include your name and cell number
Students, faculty and staff are encouraged to sign up for the free service. We'll use it if there's an event that affects campus safety. And you'll be among the first to know if we close because of weather. Subscribe now.
