Accelerated option for Business Statistics and Business Analytics being offered this spring.

Description: “The CBA is piloting a new option for the Business Statistics (6500:304) and Business Analytics (6500:305) course sequence.  This sequence will be an accelerated experience where students will complete six credits in one semester.  Below are two options that reflect different days and times.  Students will need to choose between MWF or Saturday courses.

To ensure that students are successful in the sequence, ‘department consent’ is required to enroll in these sections.  Priority will be given to students who want to complete both 6500:304 and 6500:305 in the same semester. Because this is a cohort model, student performance will be monitored in 6500:304. If the instructor feels the student will not successfully complete 6500:304, the student will be administratively dropped from 6500:305.

For the spring 2013 semester two options are available:

• Option 1. 6500:304:004 and 6500:305: 004          MWF (9:55 – 11:50)
• Option 2. 6500:304:803 and 6500:305: 803          S (9:00 – 3:00)

Enrollment requires students to complete and sign a Request for Enrollment Form, located in CBA room 260. Students will be enrolled on a first come basis.  Completion of the Form by the student indicates that (1) the student understands the accelerated nature of these courses, and (2) continuation in 6500:305 requires the passing of 6500:304.
