Akron Alight, Surviving Prohibition in Akron, and Neighbors Worlds Apart are three exhibits in Olin Hall produced by University of Akron students from the Department of Anthropology.

Sea Berry, a senior majoring in anthropology, describes some artifacts found during archaeological digs and learning about their meaning. She also explains that anthropology majors—especially those who complete the Certificate in Field Archaeology—can pursue careers in museum work, artifact restoration, or cultural resource management. She emphasizes that hands-on experiences like field school and internships prepare students for jobs in archaeology both locally and internationally.
