Geology student Grace Kruse received two nationally competitive scholarships to help fund her participation in the 2026 Geology Field Camp.
Kruse earned an award from the American Association of Petroleum Geologists (AAPG) Foundation Field Camp Scholarship Program, funded through the L. Austin Weeks Memorial Grant. She also received a National Association of Geoscience Teachers (NAGT) Field Study Scholarship.
The scholarships recognize Kruse's outstanding academic achievements and will help defray the cost of attending the department's five-week Geology Field Camp. She is expected to graduate following the completion of the field camp at the end of June.
