ORIENTATION LEADERS
Hiring Period: February to April

Ready to be the reason new students feel at home?
Orientation Leaders bring the energy, answer the questions, and help create a welcoming environment from day one. You’ll lead groups, share your own experiences, and help new students and families feel comfortable, confident, and excited to start their college journey.

You’ll build leadership and communication skills, make new friends, and get paid while doing it. Orientation Leaders gain experience you can actually talk about on a résumé, connect with staff and students across campus, and make a real impact—all while having fun and showing off your campus pride.

NEW ROO WEEKEND LEADERS
Hiring Period: April to May
Position Period: End of August
A short leadership opportunity with big impact, being a New Roo Weekend Leader lets you connect with incoming students over a weekend and help get them acclimated to campus!
This paid opportunity lasts the weekend right before classes start in the fall and is filled with fun events that our leaders get to attend with their students. Working with one to two other leaders, New Roo Weekend Leaders will help our incoming students learn the ropes of life at UA and give them some familiar faces to connect with at the start of the semester.
The 2025 application is closed for now. Check back in mid-June for our annual second call for leaders!
