The School of Family and Consumer Sciences is housed in Schrank Hall South and is accredited by the American Association of Family and Consumer Sciences. Clothing, textile, and food science laboratories, as well as a computer center, are available for student learning experiences. All programs provide community experiences through internships, clinicals, or student teaching.
These programs have active Advisory Committees of community professionals who provide advice and networking assistance. The School's Center for Family Studies offers a variety of certificate programs, including Divorce Mediation, Home Based Intervention and Case Management.
