The University of Akron, Kent State University, Youngstown State University, and Northeastern Ohio Universities College of Medicine (NEOUCOM) offer, as a consortium, a six (or seven)-year B.S./M.D. program (www.neoucom.edu). The program consists of two Phases. Phase I is the undergraduate curriculum and Phase II is medical school at NEOUCOM. Each year the University of Akron admits 35 carefully selected students into its B.S./M.D. degree option.
