The Center for Advanced Vehicles and Energy Systems is dedicated to advancing sustainable and clean energy technologies and promoting their widespread adoption. CAVES takes a comprehensive approach to the energy pipeline—from generation and storage to conversion and usage. The center’s expertise spans power electronics, charging stations, battery management, bidirectional grid interfaces, motor design and drives, hybrid and electric vehicles, wind and solar energy, fuel cells, energy harvesting, control systems, and wireless embedded sensor networks.
