Annie Hanson Hilaire serves as the Director of Recruitment and Strategic Engagement for the College of Health and Human Sciences at The University of Akron. In this role, she leads strategic initiatives related to student recruitment, enrollment growth, marketing and communications, community partnerships, and external engagement. Annie works closely with faculty, staff, health care organizations, schools, and community partners to create pathways that connect students with educational opportunities and high-demand careers in the health and human services professions.

For more than 20 years, Annie has built and strengthened collaborations between educational institutions, community organizations, and industry partners to support student success and workforce development. Her experience spans recruitment and enrollment strategy, partnership development, communications, public engagement, educator professional development, and community outreach.
