About
Brown returns to The University of Akron to teach jazz piano performance after serving as adjunct professor of jazz studies at Kent State University. In addition to producing his own recordings and commissioned works, Brown has performed with the Cleveland Orchestra, Akron Symphony, Cleveland Jazz Orchestra, Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra, and the Glenn Miller Orchestra. Brown is a current member of UA’s Arts Advancement Council.
