About
Kelli serves as Executive Director of Alumni Relations at The University of Akron, where she leads the University's efforts to engage more than 185,000 alumni through meaningful programs, events, communications, and volunteer opportunities. She provides strategic leadership for alumni engagement initiatives while fostering lifelong connections between graduates and their alma mater.
In her role, Kelli oversees signature programs including Homecoming and Family Weekend, alumni recognition initiatives, and regional engagement opportunities. She also serves as the alumni liaison to the College of Engineering and Polymer Science, Department of Student Life, Office of Fraternity and Sorority Life, School of Law, Williams Honors College, and ZipAssist. Passionate about connecting students with the alumni community, she oversees the UA Legacy Program and advises the University Ambassadors.
Before joining the Office of Alumni Relations, Kelli served as Director of Engagement and Events for the Downtown Akron Partnership from 2014 to 2021, where she developed innovative programs and events that enhanced the downtown Akron experience for workers, residents, and visitors. She also previously served as REU Coordinator for The University of Akron's (then) College of Engineering and Polymer Science.
A proud two-time University of Akron alumna, Kelli earned a bachelor's degree in marketing management in 2010 and a master's degree in higher education administration in 2012. She is a graduate of Torchbearers (Class of 2017), a recipient of the Greater Akron Chamber's 30 for the Future Award (2020), and a member of Delta Gamma Fraternity.
