Retail Purchasing

Many local bookstores carry our books. If yours does not, place your order by calling Baker & Taylor Publisher Services at 1-800-247-6553 or email them at orders@btpubservices.com. 

Phone Orders

Call our distributor Baker & Taylor Publisher Services at 1-800-247-6553. We accept VISA, MasterCard, Discover, or American Express over the phone. Orders may also be faxed with the billing and shipping information to (419) 281-6883.

Examination Copies

Examination copies are available upon request, at the discretion of the publisher, to educators who wish to consider books for classroom use. The publisher will determine if a print of electronic format will be provided. Requests must be submitted from your institutional email address with an explanation for the request and probable enrollment. Please include the shipping address. All requests are subject to The University of Akron Press approval. To request an exam copy, email us at uapress@uakron.edu.

Desk Copies

As a service to educators, one book may be requested at no charge for every 10 books ordered by your college bookstore of those titles adopted for a specific course. To request a desk copy, email us at uapress@uakron.edu with the course information. 

Returns Policy

Returns are accepted as long as the book is in print and in saleable condition and the order is not more than 18 months old. Returns submitted without reference to invoice information will be credited at the highest discount.
