Overview
The Emergency Management and Homeland Security minor provides students with the knowledge and skills to prepare for, respond to, and recover from natural disasters, public health emergencies, and security threats. Students gain practical insight into crisis planning, risk assessment, and coordinated response—making it a valuable addition for those pursuing careers in public safety, health care, government, or community leadership.

Career Outcomes
This minor allows students in other disciplines to incorporate an emergency management background with their degree program.
