Overview
The Athletic Coaching minor is geared towards students interested in learning content and skills related to the athletic coaching profession. Courses will include philosophy, motivation, leadership and the pedagogy methods in coaching. Students will have the opportunity to earn a Level 1 National Federation of High School Sports (NFHS) Coaching credential.
Admissions Requirements
Admission to the University of Akron and have a 2.5 or greater overall GPA.
