Let’s Talk
...is an opportunity for UA students to meet with a mental health clinician from the Counseling and Testing Center in different locations on campus.
- It is a free and confidential service for UA students
- Allows brief, informal consultation with a mental health clinician (15-25 minutes)
- It is not mental health treatment, and it is best for the following reasons:
- Students with a specific problem that they would like to talk through.
- Students who are unsure about counseling and wonder what it is like to talk to a counselor.
- Students who would like a counselor’s perspective but do not want to engage in counseling.
- Students who are concerned about a friend and would like guidance on what to do.
- Meetings are first come, first serve within the time allotted for Let’s Talk depending on the location, day, and time.
