Biography
Logan Riddle, M.Ed. (they/them/theirs) is a psychology intern at the Counseling and Testing Center (CTC) completing their Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology at the University of Georgia (UGA) in Athens, GA. Logan has been working with clients of various ages, identities, and presenting concerns for approximately five years, having worked in both a community health center and a campus counseling center that served both students and community members. Their time at the counseling center strengthened their love for working with college students. Logan operates from an integrative theoretical orientation, using Person-Centered/Humanistic, Feminist, and Multicultural frameworks while also utilizing appropriate interventions from various orientations tailored for each client. They enjoy working from a generalist perspective while also holding clinical interests in LGBTQIA+ experiences, gender identity development, other identity development, ADHD, and more. Logan’s research focuses on gender identity development, specifically the experiences of transgender and non-binary individuals developing their gender identity(-ies) during the COVID-19 pandemic. In their free time, Logan enjoys playing video games, watching TV and movies, reading books, spending time with loved ones (including pets), and the occasional hike with beautiful views. Lastly, Logan’s parents did, in fact, name them after Wolverine from X-Men.
