Biography

Sianne Alexis, B.S. (she/her/hers) is a practicum counselor completing her doctoral degree in Counseling Psychology from The University of Akron. She completed her B.S. at Xavier University in Cincinnati, OH. She aims to foster social justice and has dedicated her academic and professional pursuits toward fulfilling that goal. Her research interests examine the effects that intersectionality and systems of oppression have on marginalized groups. She approaches counseling with a feminist, multicultural lens to better understand students and help them navigate how their values and identity interact with the world around them. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with friends, watching TV, baking, and listening to audiobooks.
