Dilley Family Endowed Scholarship in Economics
The Dilley Family Endowed Scholarship in Economics was established September 12, 2011, by David A. and Lessia K. Goad-Dilley in honor of the Dilley family legacy in the Akron area, their commitment to community and country and the family members that have attended or graduated from The University of Akron. The Dilley Family desires to support undergraduate students in the Buchtel College of Arts and Sciences at The University of Akron with preference given to those who major in Economics. Awards are generally made in the spring term. Further details will be posted on the Economics Department website as they become available.
The Department of Economics is grateful for David and Lessia Dilley’s gift to establish The Dilley Family Endowed Scholarship in Economics. In 1973, David received his Bachelor’s of Arts degrees in Economics and Political Science. The Chair of the Department of Economics in consultation with the Office of Student Financial Aid, will select the scholarship recipient(s).
