Minor in History
Requirements
- Complete at least 18 history credits.*
- Ten of the 18 credits must be at the upper-division level (300/400)
- Complete a minimum of 3 credits from each of these fields:
- Field I (United States)
- Field II (Europe)
- Field III (Global, Latin America, Africa, Asia, Middle East)
With the approval of the History Department undergraduate adviser, a student may apply 3 credits of course-work in a related discipline (a cognate course) toward the minor.
*Courses in World Civilizations, as well as Humanities in the Western Tradition (HIST:210) and Humanities in the World since 1300 (HIST: 221) may not be used to meet minor requirements in History.
