Core Competencies Master of Social Work
Social work programs accredited by the Council on Social Work Education must evaluate and share student learning outcomes. This is done by assessing students on nine competencies outlined in the Educational Policy and Accreditation Standards.
These competencies cover the various aspects (knowledge, values, skills, cognitive and affective processes) essential to social work practice and professional training.
