The School of Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology offers both a traditional on-campus graduate program and a collaborative distance learning (online) graduate program.

Traditional On-Campus Graduate SLP Program

The School of Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology offers a Master of Arts degree in Speech-Language Pathology. The program in Speech-Language Pathology is designed to lead to professional licensure by the Ohio Speech and Hearing Professionals Board and The Ohio Department of Education. The Master of Arts degree in Speech-Language Pathology program meets all requirements for accreditation by the Council of Academic Accreditation of The American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. Collaborative, Distance-Learning Graduate SLP Program

The School of Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology offers an online Master of Arts degree in Speech-Language Pathology in collaboration with the University of Cincinnati. The Cincinnati-Akron Collaborative Online program is a unified program of faculty, students, facilities, and resources. Students take classes through The University of Akron and the University of Cincinnati, which are all offered online.

Each university accepts 22 students into the program. The University of Akron accepts students from all over the country. The Master of Arts degree in Speech-Language Pathology program meets all requirements for accreditation by the Council of Academic Accreditation of The American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
