Workday Important Dates

***Between April and August 2024, Students (e.g. Registration/Billing) and Faculty (e.g. Grading) will be directed to the old My Akron for activities related to the Spring and Summer 2024 terms*** 

For the Fall 2024 Semester, these are the new tools available to students, faculty, and staff 
 
My Akron is transforming to a more modern intranet site.  From My Akron, you’ll be able to access all the important apps listed below.  Also new to My Akron are links to UA Services and communications.  The best part?...it integrations with Microsoft Teams, providing you access to all your email, OneDrive Documents, and other Microsoft tools. 
 
Workday is UA’s new student system of record.  All registration, billing, financial aid, and student employment will be managed in Workday.  The existing ‘Student Center’ and ‘My Student Experience’ in My Akron will be replaced by functionality in Workday.  Use of Workday will begin on April 1st, 2024 for all activities related to the Fall 2024 Semester.   
 
Slate is UA’s new Admissions CRM.  Prospective students begin their UA journey within Slate and continue through their application, acceptance, and confirmation of enrollment.  All communications to prospective students happen through Slate until which point they become matriculated.  Use of Slate began in August 2023 for prospective students entering Fall 2024 Semester. 
 
Stellic is UA’s new Advising and Degree Progress application.  Students can see their path to graduation through Stellic and work with their advisors to setup schedules for future terms.  A pilot of Stellic began in 2023, with the software being available for most in March 2024 for the Fall 2024 Semester. 
 
 
PeopleSoft, commonly known as the old My Akron will be retired at the end of the Summer 2024 semester.
