Alumni Award Nominations

The Buchtel College of Arts and Sciences Distinguished Alumni Award honors graduates whose professional accomplishments, leadership, and service exemplify the excellence in their field. 

The College of Engineering and Polymer Science Distinguished Alumni Award recognizes alumni who have achieved distinction in their profession while advancing innovation, leadership, and service. 

The College of Health and Human Sciences Distinguished Alumni Award honors alumni whose professional excellence and commitment to improving the health and well-being of individuals and communities reflect the college's mission. 

Established in 1987, the Dr. Frank L. Simonetti Distinguished Business Alumni Award recognizes outstanding College of Business alumni whose professional achievements and leadership embody the legacy of Dr. Frank L. Simonetti. The annual awards have honored more than 175 alumni while supporting the Dr. Frank L. Simonetti Scholarship.

The School of Law Alumni Awards recognize graduates whose achievements, leadership, and service have advanced the legal profession and strengthened their communities. 

Outstanding Alumni - A living graduate of Akron Law who has demonstrated service to Akron Law and his or her community and/or profession; who possesses outstanding professional accomplishments; and who consistently demonstrates professional integrity.

Outstanding Graduate of the Past Decade - This award is given to alumni of The University of Akron School of Law who have exhibited the ideals of Akron Law through their professional accomplishments, service to UA, service to the legal profession and/or service to the community, and who have graduated from the School of Law within the last 10 years.
