Ohio Export Internship
The Ohio Export Internship Program (OEIP) offers students the unique opportunity to learn international trade skills in conjunction with a hands on internship experience.
The Program
- Specialized export class during spring semester held at YSU's Williamson College of Business
- Hands-on experience working with senior executives at dynamic Ohio companies
- Acquire in-depth knowledge about new market opportunities
- Paid compensation and class credit for internship experience
- Access to faculty and government experts
- Specialized export class during Spring Semester
STUDENT REQUIREMENTS
- Interest in exporting and international business
- Detailed organization and planning skills
- Commitment to working with a company full time over the summer
- Graduation date later than summer 2025
- Minimum of 3.0 GPA

The Ohio Export Internship Program (OEIP) is offered by The Institute for Global Business in partnership with the Ohio Development Services Agency. The OEIP combines a Spring Semester export-focused course with a paid summer internship centered on expanding a company’s international market. The opportunity provides a way for undergraduate students to obtain real global business experience right here in Ohio.
