The George W. Daverio School of Accountancy at The University of Akron invites tax professionals and accountants to the National Tax Conference in honor of Al Lieberman (41st annual) on Thursday, October 29, 2020, presented by Huntington National Bank and in partnership with the Akron Community Foundation. This year’s conference will be offered virtually via Zoom Webinars. Though virtual, we will continue to offer the same high quality and value that we have offered in prior years. We hope you can join us for the latest updates and most critical information impacting tax professionals today.
The conference agenda opens at 7:55 a.m. with a brief welcome message and ends at 3:30 pm. It qualifies for 8 hours of Continuing Professional Education (CPE) credit for Ohio CPAs and 6.75 (pending) hours of Continuing Legal Education (CLE) credit for Ohio attorneys.
The conference, an outreach activity of the University of Akron's Master of Taxation program,, is designed to update tax practitioners in the accounting, legal, business, and governmental sectors. Prominent tax specialists and national experts will discuss new developments, tax-saving ideas, current issues, and changes in the federal, state and local tax laws. This year's conference covers some of the most vital topics in the area of taxation.
Registration fees are $99 per attendee and $75 for each additional attendee from the same firm. The registration fee covers all conference materials.
